Design Engineer of Record for the renovation of the existing restaurant space at 126 West 42nd Street. The new tenant, Valbella At The Park, occupies ~17,770 usable square feet at the Cellar, 1st, 2nd and 3rd Floors of this property. P&A provided design and construction administration services for the Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Alarm and Fire Protection systems. Engineering services for the modification of existing systems and design of new systems was provided to support the food service function for this project.
- 6,200 SF outdoor terrace with electric infrared heaters, patron seating and wet bar and food service station.
- Modification of existing air-cooled VRF and VAV air distribution system for new space programming.
- New air-cooled VRF system for interior Wine Dining Room. System designed to maintain wine storage at optimal temperature, while achieving desirable interior temperature setpoints for dining occupancy.
- Modification to existing natural gas service to space to support commercial cooking equipment loads in two (2) full kitchen spaces. New natural gas booster designed for increased pressure requirements.
