P&A Consulting Engineers, PLLC was retained to retro-commission a well-known Hotel in NYC that had been dormant for almost 2 years due to Covid.  Ownership requested a condition assessment and deferred maintenance plan in order to re-open the facility.  All MEP systems were reviewed including:

• Chiller Plant
• Electrical infrastructure
• Fire Alarm System
• Plumbing Infrastructure
• Heating Plant
• Emergency Generators

An Action Plan was developed which focused on Life Safety and Operational Capability of the systems.  Further development of Commissioning Specifications and On-site testing was provided to assure proper re-opening and operation of the facility.
